PCS2 NA GROUP STAGE

PCS2 NA Group Stage will begin Friday, July 24th, and take place each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday over the next three weekends. Just like PCS1, teams will be placed into groups of 8 (Groups A, B, and C). Seeding from these groups will be a snake draft determined by final placings in the PCS1 NA Grand Finals followed by the top 8 teams from the NA Challenger Cup 1. Each group will play 2 days of matches each weekend, 5 matches a day, with the matchups changing daily. At the end of the 3-week group stage, the top 16 teams overall will move onto PCS2 NA Grand Finals while the bottom 8 teams will face off against the top NA Challenger Series 2 teams in the NA Challenger Cup 2.

EDIT: Schedule updated per this announcement.

IMPORTANT RULE CHANGES

During PCS1 NA we introduced five (5) player rosters and, because the five-player roster was new to PUBG NA Esports, we allowed teams to add a 5th player mid-phase. For PCS2 NA, the 5th player must be submitted by the roster lock deadline along with the rest of the team. Make sure you read the rulebook for details on exactly how the 5th roster slot works.

Rosters will be unlocked after the PCS1 Grand Finals and full rosters must be submitted by Friday, July 17th at 11:59 pm PDT. Teams are required to keep a minimum of 2 players from the previous roster in order to maintain their seed for PCS2. No roster changes will be allowed during the phase. All roster rules still apply including, but not limited to, the majority of the roster must be citizens or permanent residents of the US or Canada and all players must be 18 years of age or older before or on July 24, 2020. For full requirements please refer to SUPER. No player that is part of a PCS2 NA Group Stage roster is allowed to be added to  Challenger Series Roster.
