ESL Masters Phase 2 may be over, but the PUBG Continental Series 7: Americas is right around the corner. Keep reading for more information on how it all breaks down.

This next major tournament runs from mid August through mid September with four stages. Those stages include an Open Qualifier and Regional Playoffs for both Latin America and North America, a Last Chance Qualifier to give teams from both regions who don’t make the Grand Final a final chance to remain in the tournament, and the Grand Final.

This is the last chance teams will have to earn PGC points in order to qualify for the PUBG Global Championship later this year. Each stage of the tournament will also have its own prize pool:

  • $25,000 for each Regional Playoff
  • $20,000 for the Last Chance Qualifier
  • $250,000 for the Grand Final

PCS7 Schedule

The PUBG Continental Series 7 takes place over the course of two months, here are the dates for all stages of the competition:

  • Open Qualifier August 10th – 17th

  • Latin America Regional Playoff – August 19th – 21st

The top six teams from each region will qualify for the Grand Final. The teams who place from seventh to fourteenth will move to the Last Chance Qualifier. The top four teams from that tournament will earn a spot in the Grand Final.

Each Regional Playoff will use a group stage format consisting of 48 matches. Each team will play in a total of 32 matches. The Last Chance Qualifier will be played out over the course of 15 matches. The Grand Final will consist of 30 matches played over six match days.
